This system is for Hot Lunch orders.
Eventually, all payments, including those for fundraisers, field trips, and clubs will go through this system.
DCS Hot Lunch Program Policies
The DCS Hot Lunch Program is an optional fundraiser organized by Mrs. Maxwell and run by parent volunteers. Hot lunches are offered every Wednesday, pending sufficient parent volunteers. A second day may be added after evaluating the initial program.
Orders are placed monthly for students in Grades 1-9 and delivered to their classrooms at 11:45 am. You can view the upcoming restaurants and order details on the Devon Christian School Calendar.
Two Payment Options:
* Online via PayPal: A 1.6% processing fee and a $0.30 transaction fee apply. You can use a credit card or your bank account.
* E-transfer: Pay monthly or deposit a lump sum (e.g., $100) to dcs@devonchristianschool.ca with "Hot Lunches account for ____________ family" in the notes.
If you choose to deposit a lump sum, the amount will be credited to your Hot Lunches.net account, and payments will be deducted from there. Your account will clearly indicate how much money is left in your account. When your account gets low, you can e-transfer additional funds. All unused funds may be donated or carried forward to the next school year at year-end.
All payments must be received by 10:00 pm on the order deadline. Late or unpaid orders will not be processed and will be deleted. No exceptions.
If your child is absent on Hot Lunch day, contact their teacher by 10:00 am to specify whether you would like to donate the lunch or pick it up. Lunches for pickup will be available at the office at 11:50 am; otherwise, they will be donated.
Menu changes are not permitted. Please select the lunch option that best suits your child's dietary needs. Menu items indicate potential allergens (e.g., GF - gluten-free, DF - dairy-free); however, we cannot guarantee they have not come into contact with allergens.
